For most of my life, I did what so many women do quietly and faithfully—I put everyone else first.  I chose jobs that fit my children’s schedules, not my dreams. I worked long days, stretched every dollar, and measured success by whether my family felt safe, supported, and loved. Money was always tight, but presence mattered more. So we made it work.

Then 2008 changed everything.

When the housing market crashed, we lost our home. Packing up that life—our children’s bedrooms, the walls that held our memories—felt like watching the ground disappear beneath us. We did what we had to do to survive, leaned on family, and slowly rebuilt. But the emotional weight of starting over never fully left me.

But it also strengthened me.
It taught me resilience.
It taught me humility.
It taught me never to take time, stability, or opportunity for granted.

Years later, with my kids grown and time moving faster than ever, I realized something quietly but clearly: I didn’t want the rest of my life to look like survival. I wanted time. I wanted peace. I wanted freedom—not just financially, but emotionally.

That’s when I found digital marketing.

Not as a shortcut. Not as a fantasy. But as a way to finally build something of my own—on my terms. Something that could grow steadily, ethically, and honestly. Something that could give me back my time while creating real income.
